УрГЭУ вносит свой вклад в социализацию мигрантов и их детей
Ural State University of Economics has again become the venue for the 2nd international conference “Female Face of Migration”, organized by “Kyrgyzstan – Ural” public organization of Kyrgyz diaspora in the Sverdlovsk region with the support of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg.
The event was held as part of Russian-Kyrgyz bilateral year. Its main theme was devoted to the issues of migrants’ children socialization. The conference organizers noted a high level of the feminization of migration over the past few years: women account for 45 to 60% of the total migration stream of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Experts noted the direct impact of migration on the socio-economic and cultural-educational life of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The conference participants identified the most acute problems in this field and jointly searched for ways for their solution to include them in a strategic document on the migration policy concept.
