«UNIVISION-2018»: фейерверк талантов и зажигательной музыки
UNIVISION-2018, a show and musical interuniversity competition, has chosen a new winner. The festival of talented youth was held in the Recreation Center of Ural State University of Economics. Applications for participation were submitted by more than 50 participants from 11 universities of Yekaterinburg.
The final of the fifth vocal-variety contest Univision, which is a student version of "Eurovision", was held on March 2. The participants were supported by their classmates, friends and, of course, heads of universities.
USUE Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Rogozhin said, "It is very important to find time for a hobby and to be always in progress. I wish you to find this combination of desired, necessary and possible. Good luck to all the competitors!"
The topic of the competition is "While We Are Young". The organizers note that this year they did not limit the participants in the choice of the musical direction, as well as the language of the songs to be performed.
The contest was held in three stages: an absentee selection of applications from everyone interested, the casting, where the 12 best performers were selected, and the finals.
The jury included vocalists, musicians, educators, invited guests, and partners of the event. The experts assessed the participants’ quality of performance, artistry, and originality
