Студентка УрГЭУ стала первой на V Всероссийской зимней Универсиаде
Ural State University of Economics once again showed its worth at sports competitions. This time, Christina Votchal, a student of ME-15 group, master of sports in speed skating, got on the top tier.
The athlete was a success at the final competitions of the V All-Russia Winter Universiade: she took first place in the mass start, third place in 1000- and 1500-meters race and the first place in the team race.
As a result of the past competitions, Christina was included in the list of participants of the World Championship among students to be held late March in the Republic of Belarus (Minsk).
It should be noted that Kristina Votchal is a member of the USUE team at the Universiade competitions in the Sverdlovsk region and has already twice become the first in a distance of 500 meters and was the second in 1000-meters race. At Universiade-2018, the USUE team won bronze in speed skating competitions.
