Преподаватели УрГЭУ представили университет на встрече DAAD в Бонне
In the period from October 28 to 29, 2019, in the city on the Rhine that goes back centuries - Bonn - a traditional research seminar was held for all Russian participants who had won research fellowships-2019 under the Immanuel Kant and Mikhail Lomonosov programs implemented by the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
In 2019, two fellowships under the Immanuel Kant program were received by the faculty members of Ural State University of Economics: professor Viktor Kovalev, the chair of the Department of International Business, Ph.D. in Economics, who conducts his research at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO, the city of Halle, Saxony-Anhalt federal state), and Ekaterina Potaptseva, associate professor of the Department of Business Informatics, Ph.D. in Economics, who implements her fellowship at the Technical University of Cologne (North Rhine-Westphalia federal state).
USUE faculty members stay in Germany from September 15 to December 15, 2019.
Russian researchers from all over Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Hamburg, and many other cities) arrived in Bonn for two days (October 28 and 29). The DAAD workshop was held at the Gustav Stresemann Institute. Its rich program offered fellowship holders insights into DAAD's work around the world, the history and prospects of Russian-German scientific and educational cooperation, and allowed them to share interim results of research that Russian fellowship holders undertake in various research centers and universities of Germany as part of the collaboration with German scientists.
