Наука, образование и культура: УрГЭУ расширяет международные границы
USUE rector Yakov Silin met with offices of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg: Consul General Ruslan Biybosunov, Consul Nurlan Alymbekov and Vice Consul Cholponai Adzhimatova.
Welcoming the USUE management, Ruslan Biybosunov thanked Yakov Silin for scientific and educational cooperation and emphasized that Ural State University of Economics was an authoritative university with a long history.
During business negotiations, the parties discussed student and teacher exchange programs and socio-cultural interaction and outlined the prospects for organizing and conducting joint inter-university and international events - the 9th Interregional Conference of Russia and Kyrgyzstan and the Forum of Rectors of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. Besides, a representative of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed his readiness to assist USUE in developing cooperation with universities in Kyrgyzstan in the field of education and science.
In the period from 2017 to 2020, 28 students from educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic study at USUE, namely from Osh State University, Osh Technological University, Islamic Institute of Business, Bishkek Humanities University named after K.Karasaev, Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
