Лучшие в профессии: студенты УрГЭУ впервые одержали победу в III национальном чемпионате «Абилимпикс–2017»
USUE was the only university in the Sverdlovsk region, which had prepared and applied for participation at the Abilympics National Professional Skills Competition for people with disabilities. The competitions were held in Moscow from 1 to 3 December.
A fourth-year student Alena Novoselova won first place in the competence "IFRS Accountant".
A member of the Sverdlovsk region was Yuri Itunin, a USUE graduate student, who was the winner of the regional Abilympics championship - in the category “Programming". In a tough competition, he demonstrated a high level of professionalism.
- In the process of preparing for competitions, the students overcame psychological barriers, master new technologies thanks to their mentors and teachers - Associate Professor at the Department of Business Informatics E.V. Butsenko and Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, and chair of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, N.S. Necheukhina. The victory of our students should be credited to the administration and the entire staff of the University. It is due, first of all, to the comprehensive work for the creation of a tolerant environment and conditions for social adaptation of students with disabilities, - Associate Professor Lyudmila Yegovtseva, a specialist of the USUE Office for Social Work, commented.
