Вклад УрГЭУ в борьбу с коррупцией
Ural State University of Economics conducts an active and systematic work to counteract corruption. The university is not only a venue for events but also an organizer and a participant at other venues.
Currently, students are invited to participate in contests, which subject intersects with anti-corruption measures. Everyone interested may submit his or her work to the contest of social anti-corruption advertising up to October 15 and up to September 29 – to the All-Russian contest of social advertising "New Look".
Special attention should be paid to scientific events that take place every academic year. On March 20, 2017, the roundtable "Economic Security: Economic and Legal Aspects", was held at Ural State University of Economics , organized by the Civil Law Department and the Department of Regional and Municipal Economics and Management, jointly implementing the educational program specialization "Economic Security". The roundtable was held on the Day of Establishment of Economic Security Units in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by specialists of economic security units. The head of the executive committee of the NP "Union of the Urals Chief Security Officers ", director of a security trading and logistics company Konstantin Sergeev made a report "Trends of Economic Security in 2017".
On December 9, 2016, the workshop "Issues of Corruption Counteracting in the Russian Federation" was held at USUE. The event was timed to the International Day against Corruption. Teachers and students of the University took part in the workshop.
USUE faculty members regularly act as experts on issues related to anti-corruption activities. For example, the director of the Institute of Finance and Law Maxim Maramygin made a comment at "Echo of Moscow" radio on natural monopolies and economic scenarios of the future of our country.
We would like to note that the USUE website has a section where you can get acquainted with the regulatory legal acts of Russia, the Sverdlovsk region, and the University, according to which the fight against corruption is being conducted.
